VAS (Voluntary Action Sheffield) has provided support and leadership for the voluntary sector for nearly 100 years.
We focus on community impact, influence decision makers and champion volunteering as a force for positive action.
Getting involved in community projects is a huge part of what gives us an identity as Sheffielders and makes the city a welcoming, fun and thriving place to live and work. We do the things which enable groups to focus their energy on making a difference with people.
Our vision is for people to work together to make a vital and growing contribution to quality of life in all Sheffield’s communities.
Our mission is to support the development of voluntary and community action in a professional way, so it is sustainable & brings about positive social change.
