Frome Neighbourhood Network: Growing Neighbourhood Democracy
Back in February 2021 the Neighbourhood Democracy Movement invited Annabelle MacFadyen to talk at one of the Organising for Neighbourhood Democracy online sessions.
Over the last 30 years Annabelle has been involved in various social, environmental and community arts organisations and associations in many different ways. In this short film she shares the story of the growth of the Frome Neighbourhood Network, her hopes for the future and the possibilities she sees for the Neighbourhood Democracy Movement.
Much has happened since February 2021 – and you can see that for yourself if you take a look at the new website. We're excited to announce too that Hannah Gray of NDM will be catching up with Annabelle soon to explore what’s currently alive and growing in the local work. What a story that will be!
