Neighbourhood Democracy Movement
We're a grassroots plastic recycling workshop and place of learning. We seek out opportunities to transform people's perception of plastic through community workshops, events and locally led initiatives. Our workshop is built on the open source plans for plastic recycling machines created by One Army.
Our work focuses on three areas:
- We manufacture new products from plastic otherwise not recycled like beach clean plastics from the Norfolk coast.
- We develop innovative ways to engage our community in further learning about plastic like our Litter Arcade that we take to events and festivals.
- We offer workshops in grassroots plastic recycling techniques to our community, schools and organisations.
Our aim is to reduce plastic waste and plastic use in our town, and cultivate a community taking guardianship over the coastline and the sea in Norfolk.
